SIPA Holds Faculty Meeting for 2023-2024 Autumn Semester

On the afternoon of September 20, 2023, the School of International and Public Affairs at Shanghai Jiao Tong University held its bi-annual School-wide meeting in the Lecture Hall 319 in Xinjian building on Xuhui Campus. The meeting was attended by the School's management team and all faculty and staff members. The conference was presided over by the Party Secretary of the School of International and Public Affairs, Professor ZHANG Xiaoyi.
Professor ZHANG Xiaoyi began by reviewing the progress of various tasks within SIPA. Subsequently, leaders responsible for different areas reported on the progress of work during the spring and summer semesters and outlined key focuses for the latter half of the year.
Dean of SIPA, Professor WU Jiannan, provided an overview of the overall situation of the school's work during the spring and summer semesters and made comprehensive arrangements for the key tasks ahead. Professor WU Jiannan pointed out that during the first half of the year, the school had achieved remarkable results in areas such as talent development, disciplinary advancement, research outcomes, talent cultivation, and social service.
In her concluding remarks, Professor ZHANG Xiaoyi praised the achievements of the entire faculty and students during the spring and summer semesters in various areas of work. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive spirit and a strong drive for innovation and entrepreneurship throughout SIPA. ZHANG Xiaoyi expressed that the upcoming 20th-anniversary celebration of the college is a collective celebration for all members of the School of International and Public Affairs and hoped that every member would actively participate, contributing through practical actions to the continued development and new breakthroughs of the school.
