Biography


Ruolin Su is an associate professor of International Relations at the School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She is Managing Editor of the Asian Review of Political Economy. Her research focuses on international security, foreign policy analysis, and political psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research has been published in a variety of prestigious journals in international relations, including International Security, The Chinese Journal of International Politics, Journal of Chinese Political Science, and Chinese Sociological Review. She is the author of Violence at Home or Abroad: Understanding How Rebel Leaders Respond to Domestic Unrest (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024).
