SIPA 15th Anniversary Achievements: Self-improvement

During the past fifteen years, the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) has been constantly improving and strengthening itself under the guidance of school leadership, All SIPA faculty, staff and students attach great importance to self-learning and self-improvement, contributing to the overall development of the school as well as the university.

 

Building Group Cohesiveness

The School of International and Public Affairs values the building and increase of team cohesiveness in faculty and student activities.

Yu Zhengsheng, then member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, meets with SIPA Y2011 Undergraduate students.

Y2015 SIPA graduate students voluntarily study state governance and state affairs.

 

Bettering Structures and Systems

The school has been actively promoting structural reform, involving school leaders, faculty as well as staff in decision-making. We won the First Prize in Excellent Case of Overall Reform of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the China Institute for Urban Governance won the Second Prize in Excellent Case of Management and Reform of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

 

Strengthening Self-confidence

SIPA frequently organizes study sessions with faculty and students to keep in time with the times and review classical readings of China.
