Opening Ceremony of 2018 Sino- American Summer School

On of the afternoon of May 23rd, the opening ceremony of 2018 Sino- American Summer School: Comparative Views of Modern China was held at R233, SIPA. 19 students including 12 American students and 7 domestic students joined the summr school and the opening ceremony was hosted by vice dean Prof. Peng Bo. Professor Shinya Ueno from Kumamoto Univeristy and Prof. Peng gave the first lecture, and 7 more SIPA faculty and Prof. Mario Gonzalez from Trinity university will share their lectures to the students in the following 10 days.

The Sino-American summer school program started from 2012 with different theme, which offer a platform for students to do a comparetive study of the public poicies between two countries and helped the US students to know in depth about China'a development.
