Int‘l Students Visit Hangzhou Xixi Wetland

On May 4, to help international students understand Chinese culture and appreciate the city’s ecological civilization construction, SIPA counselor Xie Peiwen and Zhao Chenchen led nearly 30 SIPA international students visit Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou. 

The students and teachers visited Deep Pool Mouth and other sights. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, the tour guide explained in detail the history, culture and development of Xixi Wetland. Xie Peiwen and international student Wendao Liu served as translators for the students.The activity relieved the pressure of study and enhanced student-teacher relationship.

SIPA has organized a series of cultural activities for foreign students, including dumpling DIY and badminton competition, which effectively contribute to the integration of foreign students and their understanding of Chinese culture and development.
