Open to All International Students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

To express our sincere appreciation for international students’ active participation in community volunteer services over the past year, and to further promote communication and integration between international students and local communities, the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, in collaboration with Xujiahui Subdistrict, will jointly host the “Spring Festival Gathering · Community Friendship Meetup.”
All international students are warmly invited to register and participate.

This event serves both as a reflection on and appreciation of community volunteer service experiences, as well as an introduction to community volunteer projects planned for 2026. It also provides an open platform for international students to share ideas, exchange experiences, and express their interest in future community engagement. In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, participants will celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival through open discussions, interactive games, and a light buffet.

Event Information

Theme: Welcoming the Spring Festival, Building Friendship, and Creating a Better Community Together

Time: Tuesday, December 30, 2025, 14:00–17:00

Venue: Multi-function Hall, 2nd Floor, Xuhongbei Party–Mass Service Center, Xujiahui Subdistrict
(No. 11-1, Xuhong North Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, China)

Participants: International students who have participated in or are interested in community volunteer services

Capacity: Approximately 20–25 participants (limited seats; first come, first served)

International students are warmly encouraged to join community partners and faculty members in this friendly and relaxed gathering to connect, share, and welcome the New Year together.
