Personal Profile:
Miao Qing is a Distinguished Professor at the School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and was selected for the National High-Level Young Talent Program.
She has twice served as the Chief Expert of Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China. She has published 7 academic monographs and more than 100 Chinese- and English-language papers. She has received multiple awards, including the Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research of the Ministry of Education and Provincial- and Ministerial-Level Outstanding Achievement Awards in Philosophy and Social Sciences, as well as more than 10 awards from national ministries and commissions and industry organizations. More than 60 policy consultation reports led and principally authored by her have received affirmative instructions from major provincial- and ministerial-level leaders and above.
In recent years, she has focused on teaching and research in the fields of common prosperity, the third distribution, public welfare and philanthropy, human resource management, leadership, and emergency management. She has published papers in authoritative journals in public administration, including Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, and Public Administration.
