Morehourse College Visit SIPA

On May 31st, a delegation of 13 faculty and students from Morehouse College visited our school. They were hosted by Vice Dean Prof. Peng Bo, Chinese Politics and Economics (CPE) MA program manager Peng Jingjing, and 2 CPE students. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the delegation with Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), our school, and the CPE program as well as various aspects of China’s governmence policy.

Vice Dean Professor Peng Bo gave opening remarks on behalf of SIPA, introducing SJTU and SIPA, and gave a 20-minute lecture on China's governmence policy. Then, Ms. Peng spoke about the CPE program. Afterwards, the attending CPE students provided various observations about the CPE program. Victor Armando Alonzo (US) ,offered warm remarks about the CPE program and its unique advantages. Audrey Yee from Singapore also shared her experience in and thoughts about the CPE program.

After the formal meeting concluded, SIPA and Morehouse College students took a vist to the University History Mesuem in 3rd Floor of Library (Xuhui campus) and took a group photo there.
