Delegate Kim From HYU Visited SIPA On March 12

On March 12, 2013, Delegate Kim from Hanyang University Education & Culture Center visited the SJTU School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Professor Zhang Junhua, director of International Master’s Degree Program warmly welcomed Delegate Kim. They held a talk on cooperation between the two schools in Xin Jian Building VIP room. Translator Kim Eun-joo joined the meeting.
During the conversation, Director Zhang Junhua made a brief introduction of the CPE Program, stressing that the program is aimed at creating an international atmosphere as well as offering depth understanding of China’s politics, society and economy. Showing great interest in the program, Delegate Kim decided to proceed from encouraging Korean students to apply for the CPE program.
Hanyang University (HYU) is a private research-intensive university in South Korea. Famous for its engineering and vibrant overseas activities, HYU already has 339 sister institutions in 42 countries, including MIT, University of Cambridge and Tsinghua University. Finding indentify with the concept of education, both parties showed passion for further cooperation on visiting student program, co-master’s program and other possible forms of co. More exchanges and discussions regarding the cooperation are expected to unfold in the future.
