2. Who Can Apply
1. Current students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University with excellent academic records, who have abided by the university rules and regulations and have no record of disciplinary infractions (also excluded are students who will graduate this academic year, non- degree students, and exchange students) all may apply;
2. For “Scholarship for Outstanding Self-Funded Foreign Student”, the first year students are excluded ;Students who have already been awarded a “Scholarship for Outstanding Self-Funded Foreign Student” may not reapply; however they may apply for other scholarships.
3. Students who have not purchased Chinese Mainland Health Insurance in 2013 may not apply.
3. How to Apply
1. Download and fill in the “Application Form for Scholarship in 2014” from ftp://public.sjtu.edu.cn/ (username: zhaoyuan password: public);
2. Turn in the completed to the Foreign Students Office at the School of International Education form before April 10th, 2014; late forms will not be accepted;
3. Between April 11th and April 20th the School of International Education will make a decision and post an announcement regarding the results of the applications
4. After the list has been unanimously approved, the list of those who have received scholarships will be announced.

2. The International Students Office at the School of International Education has the ultimate authority in decision-making.
3. In the event of any discrepancies between this and the Chinese version, the Chinese version takes precedence.
