SIPA Commencement 2020

SIPA Commencement 2020 was held at 2 pm on Sunday, July 5th. In addition to Room 319 in Xinjian Building, the ceremony was broadcast live over Zoom. Acting dean Jin Hu, party secretary Wenning Jiang, deputy party secretary Zhenquan Li, deputy party secretary Peicheng Wang, associate dean Lufa Zhang, assistant dean Guanghua Han, assistant dean Yingjie Wei, faculty member Bo Peng, Mingming Li, Qixuan Huang, Weinan Wang, Chuanshen Qin, graduates and their family and friends attended the ceremony both on the spot and online. The commencement was hosted by associate dean Bo Fan.

On behalf of SIP, acting dean Professor Jin Hu congratulated 107 graduates.

Yingjie Wei spoke as a representative of supervisor.

Guanghua Han spoke as a class tutor.

Guangming Jiang spoke as a representative of the 2020 graduates.

Yunxiu Duan spoke as a representative of the 2020 undergraduates.

 Nicolai Meyer Lehmann Lundsbjerg from Denmark spoke as a representative of the 2020 international graduates.

Graduate representatives came to the stage in order. Jin Hu turned the tassel and awarded the certificates to the graduates. Wenning Jiang gave the graduation gifts to the graduates.

At the ceremony, the list of outstanding graduates of Shanghai and SJTU in 2020 was read out.

The graduation ceremony specially commended outstanding graduates who actively participated in volunteer service in the fight against the coronavirus in 2020.

The list of class directors of SIPA in 2020 was also announced.

Affected by the coronavirus situation, some graduates failed to return to school to attend the graduation ceremony in 2020, but they can participate in the online live broadcast. We hope the graduates will live up to the expectations of SJTU and SIPA will always be a warm harbor for everyone.
