Biography:
Dr. Zhang Chuanyong is an associate professor at the China Institute of Urban Governance & the School of International and Public Affairs of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His main research interests are urban economics, real estate economics, and public policy evaluation. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from East China Normal University in 2012, and then he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at School of Economics of Fudan University from September 2012 to June 2014. He worked as an assistant professor at the Institute of Urban Development of East China Normal University from July 2014 to March 2018, where he was engaged in teaching and research in urban economics. Dr. Zhang has published more than 20 papers in urban and housing journals and has received two projects funded by the National Science Foundation of China.
